What is CIRC?
CIRC (or Chalmers International Reception Committee) is a Student Union committe dedicated to help and receive new students to Chalmers. The committee consists of about 10 students who volunteer their time and efforts into arranging the welcoming Reception which takes place during the first month of the school year.
The Reception is a well established Chalmers tradition where old students, including the members of CIRC, take care of and guide new students into their Chalmers life.
Even though CIRC’s main focus is the reception we are available during most of the year for questions and support together with many other groups in Chalmers
Our Goal:
Our goal is for every new student to feel welcomed to Chalmers.
We hope that at the end of the Reception, that each new student has had the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends, as well as had the opportunity to settle into their new life at Chalmers.
Our goal is also for each new student to know a little more about both Chalmers and Gothenburg, and to have gained a wonderful experience and made amazing memories for life.
