Hej! I am a fourth year civil engineering student. I grew up in Linköping, Sweden. After one exchange year abroad I realized how fun it is to spend time with international students. The first thing I did, after coming back to Sweden, was to sign up as a phadder. Now this year I am happy to be part of the CIRC board. I have enjoyed every second of my time with the CIRC community…and I hope you will too!!
During your time at Chalmers you will most likely spend some late nights studying. But luckily you will also have the opportunity meet and make new friends. With them you can dance the night away at the fun parties on campus. Do the crazy slide down the Olga-stairs in a bread basket or dine in the student train wagon. Last but not the least basking in the sauna or sharing a fika with new friends will give you a cherished time. You will have a blast! Welcome to Sweden and welcome to Chalmers!

Hej! I’m 24 years old and come from an island a tenth the size of Sweden but almost equally populated, the Dominican Republic. I spent quite a while obsessed over Sweden before coming here, so you will usually see me very enthusiastic about trying swedish food and participating in traditions. I really like visiting new places and being exposed to the differences in culture and perspectives of people around me. Something that I always carry with me is the thirst for answers, either obtaining them or providing them. Those are the reasons why I joined CIRC; new students coming from different cultures usually have lots of questions!
I’m really looking forward to meet all of you and to be of help to you however it’s possible
I’m also a Chalmers Student Ambassador.

I come from the famous city Lahore which is known for its culture, cuisine, history and hospitality. I absolutely love food; it always brings out a big beaming smile on my face. No matter how fancy your party is, it all goes down the drain if the food is not good enough. I am very fond of outdoor activites like hiking, jogging and am very passionate about cricket. I assure you that being at Chalmers would be one of the most memorable experiences of your life! Looking forward to welcoming new and interesting people in 2014! I’m also a Chalmers Student Ambassador.

Hej! Jag är Stefania och jag kommer från Italien. …and that’s all the swedish I can pretend to know. But learning the language is totally in my to-do list with top priority, I swear! I’m really patient, calm and quiet. So, if you see a short girl yelling and shouting, it’s 100% sure that it wouldn’t be me! (It’s in my roots, after all!) I’m the CIRC’14 outsider and sometimes I can feel kind of lonely, so far away in Computer Science’s building. So, when you see me around, be sure to poke me… you will make me happy!
